Maintenance Electrician

• $30 - $35 p/h
• Days 1st Shift

We are working with an established Packaging Manufacturer based in Apple Creek, Ohio . They are recruiting for a Maintenance Electrician to join their team on 1st Shift in return for a salary in the region of $30 - $35 p/h along with excellent employment benefits which include 401K, Healthcare, Vision and Dental, PTO and Life Insurance.

Duties and Responsibilities as a Maintenance Electrician include:

• Perform Preventative and Corrective Maintenance on electrical systems, controls and equipment including extruders, winders and associated machinery
• Troubleshoot and repair motors, drives, PLC's, Sensors, Relays, and Control Panels
• Read and interpret electrical schematics, blueprints and manuals
• Assist with equipment installations, upgrades, and plant electrical projects
• Ensure compliance with national and local electrical codes and plant safety standards
• Collaborate with production engineering and maintenance teams to minimize downtime
• Document work performed, update electrical drawings and maintain accurate records
• Support continuous improvement, energy efficiency and reliability initiatives

Requirements:

• High School Diploma or GED; Completion of a recognized electrician apprenticeship or technical school preferred
• State electrician license or certification (Desirable)
• 3+ years of experience in industrial or manufacturing electrical work, preferably in plastics or paper converting environments
• Strong knowledge of motors, drives, PLC's (Allen Bradley a plus) and industrial electrical systems
• Ability to work from heights, in confined spaces and respond to emergencies as needed
