Position: IT Director
Location: Wichita KS - onsite
Salary: $120,000 base + bonus

A manufacturing company is seeking a strategic and hands-on IT leader Director of IT Infrastructure & Operations. This role is pivotal in modernizing legacy systems, advancing cybersecurity compliance, and leading IT teams.
Infrastructure & Network Management
• Oversee IT operations across multiple physical locations.
• Maintain and optimize network and wireless environments.
• Manage virtual server environments and legacy systems.
• Lead the upgrade of enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems.
• Evaluate and implement modern communication systems.
Cybersecurity & Compliance
• Advance organizational efforts toward cybersecurity certification and compliance.
• Maintain and update security documentation and ensure alignment with regulatory standards.
• Oversee secure backup and disaster recovery systems.
• Ensure all systems meet applicable industry compliance requirements.
Team Leadership & Talent Development
• Lead two IT sub-teams focused on infrastructure and enterprise systems.
• Mentor and manage department staff, ensuring clear direction, accountability, and performance.
• Identify and recruit IT talent to fill current gaps and support future growth.
Qualifications
• 10+ years of progressive IT infrastructure leadership experience, preferably in manufacturing or industrial environments.
• Strong technical background in networking, virtualization, and server environments.
• Experience leading ERP transitions or upgrades.
• Deep understanding of cybersecurity frameworks and compliance standards.
• Proven ability to lead distributed teams and manage complex, multi-site environments.
• Excellent communication and change management skills.
